Gryffindor

There were four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

1. Godric Gryffindor
2. Salazar Slytherin
3. Rowena Ravenclaw
4. Helga Hufflepuff

Each made their own house and created the sorting hat to decide who should go where.

Gryffindor preffered brave pupils.
Ravenclaw preffered clever pupils.
Hufflepuff preffered hard-working pupils.
Slytherin preffered power hungry pupils.

Minerva McGonagal, transfiguration teacher, is the head of Gryffindor.

Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasely, Minerva McGonagal, Albus Dumbledoor were or are all in Gryffindor.

The Gryffindor Quidditch team consists of :
